This is the new Skoda Yeti, the czech manufacturer’s SUV, due to be launched in 2009.

We don’t know yet how the final version will be, but we can tell you a few things about the model that was shown at auto shows. The Skoda Yeti had a long travel suspension and high ground clearance. It had the transmission and brakes from a Roomster and the suspension’s of the Skoda Fabia, with a great driving position and good visibility due to the thin A pillars.

The range of engines of the Skoda Yeti will be from 1.6L to 2.0L, including the 1.9TDI from VW.
